A Christmas Surprise In An Instagram Wonderland

Sometimes a shooting day takes an unexpected turn. Raymond and I visited a booked location that turned out to be an Instagram pop-up museum, a place full of colorful sets, creative corners, and endless photo opportunities. What we didn’t expect was to suddenly feel like the oldest people in the room, surrounded by teenagers taking their perfect social media pictures on a Friday afternoon.

A Different Style For A Different Setting

There was one small problem: I forgot my Ballet Heels. So instead of my usual style, we worked with alternative shoes and boots for this session. Sometimes those limitations are exactly what make a shoot more interesting, because they force you to explore a different side of fashion.

For this Christmas-themed set, the boots actually matched the playful atmosphere perfectly. The combination of the dark outfit, the festive colors, and the unusual location created a completely different mood from my usual Ballet Heels shoots.

Finding Creativity Everywhere

Not every shoot goes exactly as planned, but that is part of the fun. Even without the signature shoes, the focus stays on the outfit, the atmosphere, and creating something memorable. This was a little Christmas adventure in a place designed for quick snapshots, but we turned it into something much more personal.
